| | Yesterday during our visit with my grandparents in OKC, Isabella took her first step. Sadly, Derek was behind in Wichita babysitting our leaky basement during potential rains. We didn't get it on video or camera, but we'll try soon, and I'm in no hurry for her to repeat them 
In other news, we took her to the Dr for her 1 year check-up yesterday, and she has fallen off her growth chart, again. . .she weighs 17 lbs, 10 oz, but is only in the 5th % in weight, and 10% in height. So, once again, we'll have a weight check in one month, and we're pushing the solids until then. We're trying a "midnight snack", in addition to her 3 meals, adding in a little meal before she goes to bed. How is it that she was our biggest babe at birth and is the one who has struggled to gain weight? Anyway, walking will just burn more calories for her, so we'll have to feed her that much more! |
